Josh has been taking Kate on Daddy-Daughter dates for several years now. When it was Carter's turn to get in the mix, we decided we needed to adapt the title somewhat to make it less girly. So he and Hudson get Dude Days.
It was Carter's turn, and the anticipation was high! He talked about what he was going to do on his next dude day pretty much from the time he got back from his last one. I love how precise he is. He knew exactly what he wanted to do, who he wanted to do it with and how he wanted it done. He even told his teachers about it at school in the days leading up to it.
*I LOVE that he gets this excited about spending one-on-one time with his daddy.
Carter wanted to go to eat at Waffle House and then go to the woods.
To the "dark woods" as he called them.
With his Daddy and Mr. Justin. So that's what they did.
One of the many things we love about living in Wake Forest is all the parks.
They went down to Durant Nature Park, which is about 15 minutes from our house.
walked some trails...saw some deer...
and had an awesome time!!!
