Last week I went to the dr for my 36 week appointment and I was 2 cm dilated and 30% effaced. I went back at 37 weeks and had progressed to 4 cm dilated and 70% effaced! I've been having contractions and feeling overall laborish...not sure if that's heightened by caring for four little ones day in and day out!? Mom wasn't due to arrive until Sept. 10th. But, since I had such a big progression in one week, and was just generally feeling like the baby could arrive any minute, she changed her ticket and came early.
Yay!! Praise the Lord for moms!!!
It made the waiting much less stressful for me, and we had fun while we waited. Including having a belated birthday celebration for Mom's birthday, which was last week.
