Riding

Over the weekend, Josh taught Hudson how to ride his bike...without training wheels! He caught on quick, and is now zooming around, pedaling like a maniac.

Seminary campus is where they've all learned. It's perfect. Wide open spaces, lots of different paths to follow, a few hills for added challenge.

I hadn't seen him ride yet. Kate and Carter had an end-of-summer pajama party at the library last night, so we took Hudson and Mollie up to seminary to ride for the hour they'd be at the library.

Hudson jumped right on and took off!
Mollie has figured out how to ride her 'gooter'. Although I do miss her flamingo pose on it...she used to just climb up on it and stand perfectly still while holding one of her legs up like a flamingo. Grinning ear to ear but going nowhere! So cute.
But now, she's figured out how to move, and it's cute too.
Full speed ahead!
Pausing for a refresher on how to use his brakes, then a little assistance from his trusty coach to get going again.
A little help for Mollie, too.
Sometimes it's just fun to run as fast as you can.

Hudson's getting the hang of his brakes...he left a sweet skid mark on the way out to the car.
And here are our pj-partiers, with crafts in hand. Fun summer night.
