Our Hudso turned 4 today! We celebrated all day : )
Starting with a pancake breakfast...special #4 pancake for the birthday boy
His birthday fell on a Sunday this year, so we got to go worship with the church after breakfast. This meant we got to see lots of friends, too.
Here's one special one: Mrs. Rachel. She stopped by the house afterwards and brought a special Rice Krispie treat for the birthday boy : )
Surprise from Mommy and Daddy: a mini-trampoline!
(Funny, because I'm pretty sure this is from some kind of infomercial on TV,
but my yard-sale guru friend Catherine found it a few weeks ago
in great shape, and at a great price.
She called to see if we wanted it,
and Josh and I knew this would be the perfect gift for our high-energy boy!! Plus, it may help him learn his numbers and learn how to read a clock! Haha)
I think we were right!! He seems to like it : )

It was a treat to have Auntie Daria and Mimi in town with us
to celebrate Hudson's 4th birthday!
He immediately wanted to try on his new shoes
(NB with velcro...so he can do them all by himself!)
I love that Carter got right down there to teach him
how to put them on without even being asked.
What a blessing to see that servant heart in action!
$4 for the 4 year old...and he says "Look Daddy! I got all the moneys!!"
Mollie has partied enough...sweet girl...
What a gift Hudson is to our family!
So thankful to celebrate him today,
and we praise God that He is the giver of all good gifts!!
