Brian Regan

Brian Regan makes me laugh.

(If you've never heard of him, he's a comedian and you should find some clips on YouTube. He is stinkin' hilarious.)

My sweet husband found out he was coming to Durham this spring, and surprised me with tickets for Christmas. After three months of waiting, it was time to go see him LIVE at DPAC, and we were so excited!! We had a babysitter lined up and were ready for date night. Except...the stomach bug came to our house. I should have known, because it's come this time of year each of the three years that we've lived in Wake Forest. Yuck. Carter was first, then Hudson and Kate (who thankfully only got a tiny bit sick). The rest of us were spared (SO thankful!!!). But we knew we couldn't ask someone to come watch the kids so soon after.

We canceled our baby sitter and began to call around to see if any friends could take the tickets on such short notice. Nothing was working out. Josh was insistent that I use the ticket and take a friend with me, since it was his Christmas gift to me.

So I got to take Stephanie!! Yay!

She is also a huge fan of Brian Regan, so that made it even more fun!

I haven't laughed that hard in a loooooong time.

So hard in fact, I was sore the next day.

So fun.
