We were so excited to have Josh's parents come up to see us last week! Here is Sheila getting 'reacquainted' with Hudson...she really thought he had grown and changed in the 7 weeks we've been up here in Wake Forest!
We took them to The Border for breakfast Friday morning...one of our very favorite places! Good food and cheap...can't beat that!

We all went up to the school to eat lunch. After we ate, Josh took James with him to his Hermeneutics class. And don't feel bad if you have no idea what class that is...I didn't either until George explained it to me. Basically, it's a class on how to study the Bible. So there you go, now you know! :)
There is a cool place here called The Factory. I'm not sure what they used to make there, but it's a renovated factory that was built in the early 1900's here in Wake Forest. Now they have converted it into a kind of mall. It has all sorts of little shops plus it houses the local YMCA, an ice skating rink and several kids sports activities. They have a jumpy place in there called Jumpin' Beans...we figured Kate and Carter might enjoy checking that out...Check out our jumpin' beans :)

We have been back and forth about what to do about transportation for Josh. Our original plan was to leave his truck in Buford and James was going to try and sell it for us. We'd buy a little used Honda or something up here that gets good gas mileage and go from there. Well, we all know how crazy the gas prices have been lately, and nobody is interested in buying a truck right now. After several rainy bike rides back and forth from school, some complicated scheduling every Thursday between Josh's classes and mine, and some very sketchy encounters with trying to find a car up here, we decided we'd get the truck from GA. So last week, we were arranging with James and Sheila to meet in Charlotte for dinner and we'd pick up the truck from them there. We were absolutely thrilled when they called and told us they'd decided to drive it all the way up here to Wake Forest to come and visit for a few days! Yay!!!

The kids wanted to show off their bike riding skills, plus it wouldn't feel like a Saturday morning if we didn't cart all the kids and the bikes up to campus! Here is Carter checking out Kate's bike, with a little help from Pa...

Josh wanted to get in on the bike riding too :)
We were so excited to see James and Sheila, and be able to enjoy a much more relaxing visit than the last time they were here and we were busy unpacking! It went by much too fast, as all good times always do. We've already learned to hug a little tighter and enjoy every moment we're given.
