It's hard to believe another week has flown by! We're still not quite settled, I guess that will just take time. But we have finally started to feel like we're well on our way which is a nice change from the past few weeks! I had no idea I would be so emotional (really more of a wreck) over this move, so it's nice to be a little more stable now!! There is no real rhyme or reason to this post, just a glimpse into our days here in Wake Forest this past week.
A Day in the Life of Team Reed
Hudson has just started to be interested in playing. Here he is in the bouncy seat having a great time with this little sunshine toy that clips on to it. He has the best time, kicking his feet and smiling at it, cooing away. It is so fun to watch him! I need to get a tutorial from Stephanie about how to put video on here so I can let you see Hudson in action! But for now, here's a snapshot.
Here's Josh coming home from class on Friday. He's loving his bike (Thanks Jim and Daria!!) And of course he wore his Georgia shirt to school, getting ready for opening weekend of college football!! Go DAWGS!!

We found a cute little park over by the library that the kids have been wanting to go to. Here's Carter on the smaller slide. Everytime he went down (probably close to 20 times) he'd say "Whee!" all the way down.

Here's Kate trying monkey bars for the first time ever. Look at her go! She went halfway across all by herself. She is so strong!

Back to Campus
We went back up to campus on Saturday to let the kids ride their bikes. Here's a great shot of Josh by one of the entrances to the seminary.

We ran into some of our new friends, Hugh and Hollie Carson, while we were up on campus. They have a daughter named Laney who is a few weeks younger than Carter. The kids were having a great time running and playing. It was so hot though...check out these red faces!!

The Kiddos
Here's Carter saying "Cheese!" It took me several shots to catch Hudson smiling in the picture above. While I was working on that, Carter was right by me posing so I had to snap him too :)

Here is Carter kicked back in the baby's carseat watching TV...He was quite comfy, rocking away. Hard to believe he was ever small enough to fit in one of those seats.

Reflections
We've been going to North Wake Church up here and love it! They've been going through the Bible book by book and this week they were covering Romans. A pretty tall order to try and cover the book of Romans in one sermon but they did a great job! We've been reflecting on it all afternoon.
We have a sign that hangs in our bedroom with Romans 8:28 on it. I had it made last November after we found out we were pregnant with Hudson and got the acceptance letter from Southeastern all in the same week. It's our Ebenezer to remember that even though we were not sure how it was all going to pan out, God knew and had everything under control.
Looking back over the past year, it's awesome to see how God has perfectly orchestrated every detail of our coming up to seminary. He has been so faithful to provide for our family! And for every step of faith we've taken, He's shown us just enough to help us take that next step. We're living out what our good friend George calls the 'flashlight view'. Going back to Romans 8:28, we know that God has called our family to seminary for His purpose and His glory. And because we love Him and believe Him, we are trusting that it is going to be good, no matter what it is.
