These years keep rolling by!  Goodness!  35...WHAT????

My sweet mom came up to celebrate my 35th birthday (amid many other May happenings!!)

I love these crazy guys (my littlest guy was in bed already because I had to share my birthday with Kate's season-end soccer team pool party, and we had cake after Josh and Kate got home.  Brooks likes to party, but not that late!)

Lovely ladies (last night with two-year-old Mollie! Craziness.)

Girlfriend is looking rough here...because I was feeling rough...I didn't know it at the time, but turns out I had pneumonia?!?  I hadn't been feeling well for several days prior to my birthday, but we had too much going on to slow down for me to go to the doctor.  (Ain't nobody got time for that!!)  

But, after a packed birthday/Mother's Day weekend, I finally succumbed and went.  They confirmed what I had already suspected and I was diagnosed with pneumonia.  They told me to REST (ha!) and gave me a prescription.  Thankfully, Mom was here to help out, and that did allow me to have time to rest and get better.  Besides, who doesn't like to have their mom around when they are sick?! : )

So, somewhat Happy Birthday for me this year.  Not my best, but still overwhelmed by God's grace to surround me with people I love and allow me to embark on another year!
