Kate got horseback riding lessons for a birthday gift this year. The farm where she has been riding is about 10 miles from here...pretty amazing that we have all the conveniences we could ever want right around us, yet a short drive away there are acres of beautiful, rolling farmland. I love that.
The instructor, Christina, lives on and works the farm. She knows a lot about horses and is a great teacher. Firm, yet patient. Kate has learned a lot and enjoyed it very much.
