Good morning, birthday girl!!
It seems impossible that we've already had a whole year with Mollie!
They seem to get faster and faster.
The focus for Mollie was cake, anyway, and presents, so anything else was secondary.
I love these Pottery Barn frames. I have one for each child, and it goes from Newborn to 1 year. It's fun to look back on all of them and see how much they change over the course of a year. Amazing. What a blessing to be doing this for the fourth time.
Fun story. We went to the beach with a group of friends when Kate was 13 months old. One of the kids had a piano like this, and Kate couldn't get enough of it.
We've looked for one ever since, and FINALLY found one six years later.
So Mollie gets to enjoy it now : )
Sizing it up, planning a strategy.
I always wonder if any of them are going to repeat Kate's moves
(she face-planted into her first cake, and then did the same thing on her 2nd birthday).
Not sure what happened here, but Mollie wasn't happy about something.
"It's my party, and I'll cry if I want to!"
And then just all over the side of her face and partially in her hair.
I think it's safe to say she liked her cake!
I love her expression here.
