Last Friday, my friend Stephanie and I decided to pack the kids up and go down to Raleigh to take them to Pullen Park. The weather was too perfect to spend the day inside, and I've been wanting to go, so we figured no time was better than the present! It's a public park and they also have a train, a carousel and boats you can ride! Plus, a little fun fact, the opening scenes of the Andy Griffith Show were filmed here. Before we ate our picnic lunch, we let the kids feed the geese. I wish I had audio, because the honking was cracking me up. Here's Anna Kate, Kate and Carter.
There's a nice walkway all the way around the lake and so many pretty views! These pictures don't even begin to do justice to the beautiful fall colors! And here are Hudson and Abby in their strollers...they were so good!!

Carter is very into rocks these days...He was particularly interested in all these big rocks that he could walk on and climb on!

Me and Hudson. Check out his cheeks!! Not surprising, since he weighed 17lb. 6 oz. at his 4 month appointment this week!!! WOW!

We went straight from the train to the boat ride. Only kids on this one...Kate and AK had fun taking turns ringing the bell. And Carter really enjoyed having two steering wheels all to himself!

Next we went to the carousel, built in 1910! It was really fun, and in great shape considering it's almost 100 years old! Kate picked a rabbit to ride.

Two worn out kiddos. Kate was so tired she actually rode back to the car in the stroller since Hudson was in the Baby Bjorn. And Carter was so exhausted he couldn't even smile for the camera :) What a fun day!!!
