All my years of living in Georgia have made me a bit cynical when it comes to the weathermen calling for snow. It seemed that they always made a big deal about it and then it would never happen. Well, over the four years of living in NC, mostly every time they've predicted snow, it has snowed. This was what we woke up to the morning after Carter's Math book party. Probably only an inch or two, but enough to get out and play in for a while! Mollie has never seen snow before (that she remembers!), and Hudson was two the last time we had snow so he didn't have much memory of it either. Fun times!
She thought the big snow pants were pretty hilarious!
Taste-test
Bailey used to LOVE playing in the snow. I wondered what she would do now that she's blind, if she would recognize what it was and still try to play in it? Sadly, she didn't. It has been really sad watching her navigate without her sight.
Melting fast...no match for that sunshine!
Attempting to gather even a mini-snowman...
Brooks and I stayed inside...warm and dry : )
Besides, someone has to be inside, making preparations to receive the laundry onslaught that is the aftermath of a snow-day! And making hot cider, of course : )
