These boys have been waiting to wear these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costumes for a whole year, even since I bought them on clearance after last Halloween.  They've actually never seen or heard of TMNT before we got the costumes, so Josh pulled up an episode on YouTube to let them hear the song and see a little of the show so they'd know who they were.

Fun to see friends all dressed up and ready to trick-or-treat!

We trick-or-treated with the Lyons.  How funny to see that we had three Cleopatras!  

Apparently, Stephanie and I shopped the same clearance rack at Target last year, and got the same costume without knowing it.  Extra cool because we've both been teaching world history this fall, so they all knew who Cleopatra was!

Josh and Brooks were both battling a little cold, so they stayed home.  Good thing they did...we actually had trick-or-treaters come by for the first time since we've lived here!

After we got home, Josh walked over to our neighbor's house where some small group friends were having a Halloween party.  I love how clever and creative people are with their costumes...I'm not particularly that way, so I can appreciate it in others!
