We've been talking about needing to do a yard sale for a while now. We decided that this summer would be a good time, before school started back and while things were still pretty low-key. So we bit the bullet and put together a yard sale. And it was a success!
Exhausting, but successful : )
And being that it is the end of July and it was 102 outside today, the kids sold lemonade. I forgot to get a pic of them in action, but they were (mostly) agreeable about posing for me after we'd already brought it back inside. They had a blast doing it, and a lot of the people that came to shop were so sweet to buy some from them. All in all, it was a productive day. We had a great turnout, got rid of a lot of stuff we don't use or need, had some conversations with some interesting people and got to put a little cash in our pockets. Fun day!
*And isn't it fun to see how much Kate and Hudson look alike?!
They could be twins. It's crazy.
