Daddy-Daughter Dance

Here we have one very excited little girl.
One who has been counting down the days until February 11th
ever since we turned the calendar over on February 1st.
Because that day would be a very special day
for this daddy's girl.
She's got a date to go dancing with Daddy.
And to make it even more fun, this year we got invited to go to a dance down in Raleigh with a group of friends, some of whom have been going to this particular one for years. Our friends Blaire and Mark Savage opened their home for a pre-party meal. Pizza is a Team Reed fave...no way Carter and Hudson were missing out on this. Even though the table was filled with girls all dolled up in their pretty dresses.
Josh and his girls : ) I love how he loves them.
Here's the whole crew.
I think I counted 8 families represented. Fun stuff!
(Mollie didn't go to the dance, but she hung with Josh for the pictures)
Ready to go!
And ps. check out her new big-girl teeth!
Coming in more everyday.
I can't believe this gap is closing so quickly.
Such a fleeting stage, which is sad
because she is so cute with that
big ol' space in the front of her smile.
Blaire invited the mamas and the younger kids (and the older boys) to stay and hang out once we got the daddies and the girls on their way.
Carter was so pumped to play with her youngest son, Caden.
He thinks he is so cool.
Hudson was enamored with this guitar.
He barely put it down.
Although he did set it aside to say 'cheese' for me!
Cutie pie.
So big.
Goodness.
I can't help but stare at him sometimes.
Well, really a lot more than sometimes.
Checking on sissy as they play back-to-back.
Finally set the guitar aside for a motorcycle (in Hudson-ese a 'dah-doh')
Not sure how that translates to motorcycle, but we go with it : )
Here is sweet Blaire.
Love this woman.
What a treat to spend the evening with her and some sweet friends.

Love how you called Molly "sissy". Reminded me of my Mom....
