I love a big consignment sale...

...because you can find anything you can imagine that might have to do with children!

In one place.

For ridiculously low prices.

So it's a little like Christmas morning around here when I come back from one.

Never know what I'm going to score.

But I love any opportunity to make my kids smile.

Like when Carter told me last week he wanted a cowboy party for his next birthday

(he's planning ahead since that won't be until November?!)

and I was able to find him a pistol, holster

and some sweet boots at the sale, all for less than $10!?

(And I got some boots for Hudson, too.

Because little brother wants to be like big brother, always.

And it melts my heart.)

But my biggest score to date was finding these for the boys...

BUNK BEDS!!!

Exactly the kind I wanted!

They are solid wood, really well-made and

I can still reach Carter on the top bunk without having to stand on tiptoes.

Plus they give us the option to use them as two twins if we want.

So we officially moved Hudson out of his crib

and he is beyond thrilled to be such a big boy now.
