Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium

One of the NC Aquariums was right by where we were at Atlantic Beach, so we spent one morning there. The kids love to go to the aquarium in Atlanta, and were excited to get to go see this one. I love the way it worked out that the week leading up to our trip, Kate was learning about different sea creatures as part of her science!! With homeschooling, I have the freedom to do stuff like that, but to be honest it never even crossed my mind to be intentional and study up on sea creatures before going. I'm still learning the ropes. Glad it worked out anyway!

This could be my favorite picture yet that I've taken with my new camera. Jellyfish look so cool...just wish they didn't hurt so bad when they sting.
